Grader Divisions

Snow plowing/road grading priority will be in the following order:

  • School bus routes – excluding driveways
  • Major arteries through the individual grader divisions
  • Urbans within Vulcan County – when requested by the Municipal Authority
  • Applicable driveways – only where a valid Driveway Maintenance Agreement is in place
  • Off road plowing to grain bins, hay stack, etc. with a valid Right of Entry Agreement in place

There are 10 grader divisions within Vulcan County, each consisting of 180-200 miles of road.

Division 1 – Carmangay

Division 2 – Champion

Division 3 – Kirkcaldy

Division 4 – Vulcan

Division 5 – Brant

Division 6 – West Lomond

Division 7 – East Lomond

Division 8 – Milo

Division 9 – Arrowwood

Division 10 – Mossleigh
