Information for Voters

Elector Register

New for the 2025 Municipal Elections! All municipalities are now required to keep a register of electors, which is shared with Elections Alberta for provincial elections.

Check to see if you are on the register: https://www.voterlink.ab.ca/

* Please note – you will be directed to the Provincial Electors Registry. This is the correct registration form, even though it does not reference your municipality.

The deadline for adding your name to the Elector Register for the election was September 15th.

If you are not on the Elector Register, you can still vote in the municipal election. You will be required to show proof of your physical address, and your name will be added to the register after the election.

Who Can Vote?

Your are eligible to vote if you meet the following criteria:

  • You are a Canadian citizen and at least 18 years of age on the day of election;
  • You are a resident of the electoral division in Vulcan County on election day.
